Amica started making cakes as a hobby many years ago in Toronto for friends and family members. In the early 80's, Amica learned the art of cake design from the designated Canadian designer for Princess Diana's wedding cake!

In the 1990's, a very good friend inspired Amica to enter the wedding cake business on a full-time basis. Since then, Amica has made cakes for hundreds of clients who have subsequently returned for their anniversaries, their children's birthday cakes and wedding cakes for their friends and family. Couples have even asked for replicas of their wedding cakes to be used as anniversary cakes which have been sent as far as Montreal and New York.
